Privacy policy

Here you can read what data we collect when you contact us about opening a BFT studio, why we do it, and how long we keep it. This is a translation for your convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Danish version applies.
Data controller
BFT Scandinavia is operated by Scandi Fit AS, org. no. 832 918 652, Ekebergveien 7, 1407 Vinterbro, Norway, which is the data controller for the processing of your personal data. Contact: endre.sivertsen@bodyfittraining.com.
What data do we collect?
- When you request the info pack or write to us: name, email, phone number, whether you are interested in a new or existing studio, country, city or area, whether you have consented to marketing, and which page or campaign you came from.
- Information you give us yourself in the further dialogue, for example about your background and plans.
- Technical data: IP address and browser information, which are necessary to display and protect the website.
Purpose and legal basis
- To send you the info pack and get in touch about the opportunities to open a BFT studio – you have asked us to, and we have a legitimate interest in replying to you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) and (f)).
- To send you news and information about franchising by email or text message – only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- To enter into and administer a possible franchise agreement – performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Marketing
We only send news and information if you have given your consent. You can always withdraw your consent via the link in our emails, by replying STOP to a text message or by writing to us.
Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Some of our suppliers and BFT may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA or Australia. This only happens on the legal basis required by the GDPR – for example the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long do we keep the data?
- Enquiries that do not lead to an agreement: up to 24 months after the last contact.
- Data related to a franchise agreement: for as long as the agreement runs, and afterwards for as long as the law requires (for example 5 years under bookkeeping rules).
Your rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object, and receive your data (data portability). If you have given consent, you can always withdraw it.
Write to endre.sivertsen@bodyfittraining.com, and we will reply within one month.
You can complain about our processing to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) or to the supervisory authority in the country where you live.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available here, dated at the top.
